The first meeting of the Highland Park Food Coop is this Sunday, May 17th at 6pm at 112 N. Ave 58 Los Angeles, CA 90042. Time Banker, Katie Bachler is one of the people spearheading this project.
They are starting off as a food buying club and hope to eventually develop into a small scale, consumer owned and operated food Co-op. The space is also being offered as a community center and art space. We are excited to see how it evolves!

Since our reservation ran late, we were pointed to the bar where we were served complimentary samples of their pineapple-infused vodka. Gotta love a potent potion masquerading as harmless pineapple juice!
