Instructor: Michael John, Video Game Designer/Producer

What is it?
An intense, fun three hour experience in which you will build, test and play an original board game.

How does it work?
The course divides into groups of 4 or 5, each of which creates a novel, original game based on props provided by the instructor. Games are created in a series of rapid iterations, with each iteration being tested by the other participants in the workshop. By the third iteration, you’ll have a game that’s playable and fun. I guarantee it!

What skills do I need?
You need boundless enthusiasm, creative energy, and an interest in playing well with others. Outside of that, nothing at all.
