Come help inform the direction of the nascent Echo Park Progressive Alliance (EPPA) at a “kickoff mixer,” Thursday, 11/3, 6:00-8:30 p.m. at The Echo back patio, Sunset Blvd. near Lemoyne. Residents and business owners of Echo Park and surrounding neighborhoods are invited!
“The goal of the EPPA is to foster professional and social connections between progressive stakeholders in the Echo Park community, broadly construed. This can take many forms, from sharing information and resources, to supporting each others' enterprises and events, to developing and advocating approaches to matters affecting our community and world. We all go off and do our specialized work every day; let's get together and remember what we all have in common. As a first step, however, we need to figure out who "we" are. Thus, we are inviting anyone who is interested in our mission to join us for a meet-and-greet on November 3, at 6:00 p.m., at the outdoor patio at the Echo. Everyone welcome; please invite anyone you think might have an interest.
