Conflict Resolution Class for Kids and Adults

The Time Bank Neighborhood Resiliency Project Presents: A Conflict Resolution Class for Kids and Adults. May 14th from 9-10AM a the Micheltorena School Community Garden 1511 Micheltorena St.
L.A. CA 90026.

Mediator Michelle Espinoza will teach conflict resolution and non-violent communication! Kid class is from 9-9:30 Adults from 9:30-10. FREE! Stay after and plant some seeds in the garden. 

MULCH! Echo Park Trees Need Love March 5th

The Echo Park Time Bank and the Micheltorena Elementary School Community Garden present: MULCH!

Location: Micheltorena School Garden (Micheltorena and Sunset)

Driven by the momentum from the Micheltorena School Community Garden, community members are invited to come out and spend a day giving some much needed TLC to the resident trees of Echo Park along Sunset Blvd. Come spend the day feeding delicious MULCH to these concrete dwellers, while making some new friends and beautifying our urban landscape and neighborhood.


The day will start at the Micheltorena Community Garden 1511 Micheltorena Street, Los Angeles, CA 90026. Mulch will be piled into garbage pails and buckets, and driven to the trees along Sunset Blvd, between Logan and Lemoyne - the heart of commercial Echo Park.

Trees both on the north and south side of Sunset Blvd will be hit. If there is more mulch, we will continue to hit trees going west on Sunset Blvd (in front of Masa and Pueblo).

This will be the first of many mulch days in which we feed the trees all the way down Sunset Blvd, from Echo Park to Silverlake and beyond!

Please bring:

- gloves
- sunscreen
- reusable water bottle
- empty garbage pails or buckets
- a sunny disposition
